Well....I was thinking. Maybe if all the travel powers allowed
you to travel at the same speed. Meaning all of them are equal in speed. I think this would be better than how it currently is because all of them have their advantages and disadvantages in some areas. i.e. super speed you can't really get up to higher grounds, super jump you have obstacles in your way etc.

I don't know, just an idea. Thoughts?

That wouldn't make the game any fun would it now?

[b:843d471e68]Yeah! Besides, they all already have something in common:

Fly: You can fly through cities very fast, and then smash your head against a wall.

Super Speed: You can run through cities very fast, and then smash your head against a wall.

Super Jump: You can jump through cities very fast, and then hit that billboard you didn't realize was there until it was too late.

Heh...shame that kind of stuff doesn't [i:843d471e68]kill[/i:843d471e68] you. The only 'safe' travel power is teleporting, because you just go straight through the walls and billboards you'd normally collide with!

...Rather pointless I know, but I felt like handing out a lame attempt at humor.[/b:843d471e68]

The point would be for the effect. Some people might love to fly, but personally I think it is the slowest travel power. Now you don't want to have a disadvantage speed-wise just because you chose the travel power you thought was the coolest now would you?

I don't know what you're talking about you can Upgrade the speed on fly, it just slows you down when you're in combat. And why would make every travel power cancel each other out, how boring is that? You should be playing the game to fit the role of your super/hero villain you create. This is like saying we'll just make all of the combat powers do the same amount of damage at each level, but let's just make them look different, fun for everyone right? If we do this, it'll completely kill the purpose of teams, for you'd all be doing the same exact thing, why not just solo the mission? Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Hell we should just change the name of the game to City of Utopia.

Everyone knows that fliying is the coolest travel power arround. That's why is the slowest, it has to have some drawbacks.
