Languages?

Post by Shris » Wed Jun 25, 2008 10:58 am

Hi There,

my Question is about the Languages, i'm from Germany and my English is not the best now i think other people had the same problem and ignore your very good work because of there bad english knowings.

Would it give this Emu in others languages like Francise, Italian, Portugues, Spanish, German and others?? or just in English...
And when you plan to translate your emu i would help with German.

Well, there aren't that many user-visible, translatable strings in the server. So translation-friendliness is not on my current todo list :)
Later on, when we have proper quests that will change.

yeah ok i improved myself, i will not try to translate the Emu...
I mean the Game itself: the Quests, and City's and text the NPC's speak and so on^^

The client that we chose is English only, so many in-game texts are unchangeable. As for quest text's and such, it might be possible to change them.

but can't we encrypt the Client so that the Text can be changed??
I mean i don't nothing about Emulation i mean i had my own WoW Emu but this is not so big like CoH/CoV.

But the important things for Translation is that the Quest-text's can be changed and about that you say it's possible

Sorry, but we won't change anything client-side.
